
After 20 years of successful trading in Sussex as a graphic design and branding agency, Vision decided to take some of our own medicine and re-brand as VGROUP. Launched in November 2007, VGroup is a group of specialists in marketing, branding, design and interactive media.
We didn’t change for change’s sake. We recognised that the world had changed, our client’s needs had changed, and perhaps most significantly, we saw the need for marketing solutions, including digital marketing, to be truly integrated with clients’ brands. One year on and we’re a very different business with the establishment of our digital division, VGroup Interactive, allowing us to provide a truly integrated approach.
We’ve won substantial new business worth over £1.75m, including 3 global integrated accounts.
In less than a year, VGroup has been able to demonstrate the strategic, technical and creative ability to win these accounts, bolstering our reputation to that of a fully-fledged integrated agency.
Our client base has diversified to include much more consumer-facing work, including food packaging and glossy magazine advertising. We’ve built on our solid client list of respected B2B names to include helping FMCG consumer brands gain listings in major retailers such as Waitrose and Tesco, be part of the global launch of the world’s first in-flight mobile phone network, and introduce our clients to the world of social media.
We’ve developed a blog to allow all our staff to contribute to the personality of the company, make us think about where we stand on industry issues, and provide valuable knowledge and resources to our clients and readers. We’ve educated our clients on social media marketing for business and consumer relationships, and many of them are now blogging too.
