At VGroup, whilst we like to keep up to date with the latest design trends, interactive processes and branding movements, the tradition for afternoon tea with a slice of cake still holds a great place in our hearts (and in our stomachs) and we think is a great way to boost our afternoon inspiration!
We often extend our creativity from the hub of the studio to the hob of the kitchen and think that between us we have the most sensational (secret) recipe for Lemon Drizzle cake, the best designed cupcake and the scrummiest - attributed mainly to the rum! - flapjacks in our cake portfolio.
When we aren’t in the kitchen, we are participating in our ongoing quest for the perfect biscuit, and yes, design plays a vital role here too. Some believe we eat with our eyes first and who can fault the baroque scrolls of the classic Custard Cream, the perfectly embossed typeface on the Bourbon, the nostalgic shape of the Jammie Dodger and don’t even get us started on the techno colour combinations of the Party Ring.
