Prestigious Look For Landmark Event

The International Capital Market Association held their landmark 40th AGM and Conference in Vienna, Austria on May 14-16 2008. VGroup were commissioned to design the materials for this special event by combining a look which both celebrated the occasion and inspired delegates world wide to attend. VGroup’s research of the historic sculpture and architecture of Vienna inspired the unique 40 emblem with decadent foil blocked swirls and moody statue imagery combined with layers of classic typography.
Some 500 delegates registered to attend and were sent the branded AGM Pack - an elegant foil blocked envelope containing a gift voucher and invitations to the Welcome Reception and Gala Party. Metallic ink, refined colour and textured paper were used to reflect the location and atmosphere of this event and create a prestigious look for the AGM collateral.
ICMA members and non-members received AGM branded emails leading up to this event providing links to register on-line and summary of the programme.
The ICMA AGM provides the rare opportunity for those in the banking and financial industry to join together to meet and discuss the importance of their role in providing a stable regulatory framework for the global capital markets.
VGroup also developed a secure online meeting planner application, designed to allow registered delegates to contact other delegates world wide to request meetings, without revealing delegates contact details to each other unless people accepted connections.
This ICMA Meeting Planner was a great success, and signified ICMA’s first excursion into the world of social media for business. VGroup and ICMA are now working on a LinkedIn Group to connect all ICMA members across the financial industry across the world.
