
Soon it’s time again for Brighton’s yearly festival again, a true sign summer is on its way! Brighton festival is growing stronger and more reputable for every year, attracting artists from all over the country. This year Brian Eno will flavour the festival as Guest Artist Director.
The festival kicks off with the Children’s Parade 1st May – it’s a joy to see all their happy little faces as they proudly parade through the streets of the city. It’s the parade’s 25th year and over 4,000 children will participate.
Throughout the month follows outdoor theatre (how about watching Shakespeare’s Globe perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the park while you picnic), open-air circus, off the track exploring in the forest, performances in abandoned buildings, family fun, comedy, dance, music, experimental performances… Simply put – there is something for everyone!
