Archer-Hoblin is an established and successful company that have had the foresight to review and re-structure the Group at a time when the construction industry has been hit hard. Going back to their roots, redefining the company’s structure and rebranding to stand out from the crowd is a positive, strategic marketing move in less positive times.
When formed 20 years ago, the main field of Archer Hoblin’s work was residential underpinning for the insurance market. This work honed their skills and experience in high-end renovation and refurbishment, developing their current capability of fulfilling entire build projects at the highest levels of industry standard. Archer-Hoblin also turned their focus on the affordable housing sector where they now have an outstanding reputation for their design-led and humanitarian approach to social housing.

VGroup began Archer-Hoblin’s brand re-fresh with our branding “Discover” stage, which includes tailored questionnaires to company directors, aimed at getting under the skin of the company ethos and core values. With the new company structure for Archer-Hoblin Group and its divisions agreed, we finalised the new brand architecture, following on with the architecture of the new family of websites for the Groups’ divisions.
On approval of the brand architecture we defined their brand values, developed a personality, tone and design style for their corporate identity and marketing collateral for each division including; stationery, brochures, website, construction hoardings and signage, presentation/proposal formats and launch event materials.

Now is the time when companies need to maximise the effectiveness of their brand, its values and their communications to work hard, stand out from the crowd and create a competitive edge.
