Google has just released a video previewing the new Google Glass. The slimline headset is voice controlled and by uttering the phrase “okay Google” followed by recognised commands the user can send and receive messages, take pictures, record films and search the internet.

Since I first wrote about QR Codes here, public awareness seems to have grown about these nifty shortcuts to information for Smartphone users, but I haven’t seen many uses that make me think ‘wow’. But Tesco’s innovative use of them to solve a business problem is exemplary.
